Welcome to my green onion fan page!

Green onions are so cute. They are small and have a gradient from dark green to light green to white. They are also delcious. Not too spicy but have lots of flavor. You can chop them up and put them on anything. You can even freeze them after chopping them so they last a long time. AND you can even regrow the roots in a jar of water!!! How cool is that???

Green Onion Recipes:

• Pajeon by Maangchi – a korean pancake made with green onions! Maangchi videos are the best. I have celiac disease so I would use gf flour instead of regular flour.
• Dip – Okay this has a regular onion in it but you could put green onions on top. Besdies, it's a really good secret family recipe so it is okay for it to be here. Ingredients: Philedelphia 1/3 less fat Cream Cheese, worcestershire sauce, milk, and grated onion (you can use a microplane for this). Idk what the measurements are. Use a small amount of worcestershire sauce at first. Use milk to make it however thick/thin you want. Then whip it all together and eat with potato chips.

Green Onions in video games

One of my favorite video games is Harvest Moon 64. It is where you inherit a farm and can grow vegetables and raise animals and talk to villagers. Sadly you can't grow green onions in HM64. But wait I just learned that a later HM game has green onions! It's called The Lost Valley. I've never played it.
